Liverpool defender Dan Agger wants to stay with the Reds despite the departure of manager Rafael Benitez.
Premiership League is an English Professional League for Football Association clubs. It is the country’s primary football competition. Premier League is contested by 20 clubs and it is a corporation in which the 20 member clubs act as shareholders. Start from August to May, with teams playing 38 games each totaling 380 games in the season. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played during weekday evenings. The 25-year-old, who is currently playing in the World Cup with Denmark, had been linked with a move away from Anfield given the change of management and the club’s financial problems.
But Agger claims he is happy on Merseyside and wants to stay with the Reds.
“I have no thoughts about leaving Liverpool,” he said.
“I have a four-year contract, I intend to stay and I want to stay, no matter who the manager is.
“Of course, I hope it’s a manager who believes in me. I have to show what I can do, I know that. I like Liverpool as a club, I like Liverpool as a city, I have no reason to leave.
“And I think my team-mates feel the same way. Everybody knows that Liverpool is a big club, a great club. From the inside, I can tell you it’s a great club.”
