Why would people be lost and not know that those widgets even existed? Have our standards for basic intelligence, natural curiosity and resourcefulness sunk so low that it’s become a foregone conclusion that the average person is hopeless idiot?

@beautifulgooal I’m not wrong, I’m just going by who I see have these phones, locally and on youtube. I saw the local paper on how everyone who already had an iphone just had to get the new model( retards), and from the picture many were teenagers and in their 20′s. So that’s in my area, but many teenagers and early 20′s stay at home so they will have more cash to blow. The regular service is more like around $80 not $145. I never knew that luxury, I’ve been surviving on my own when I was 18.
@zcar187 it’s based on how good ur credit is, i remember att asking me for 700 dollars about 5yrs ago, 5yrs later they said zero down, after 2 cars and some serious credit building, 5yrs was worth it cos now i’m confident.
@Halo2100 u r wrong, how does a regular 21 yr old or yuounger pay a bill of about 145 dollar monthly bill on cell phone, which planet do u live on?
@Halo2100 People who are under 21 have these type of phones because they are in college – where I can personally say they are a godsend.
I’m pretty sure this has more processing power than my old computer…sad.

I can understand getting a droid or iphone if you do a lot of traveling and don’t want to always carry a laptop for your job. What’s funny is that most of the people who have one are 21 and under who really don’t need one since they most likely have access to a computer.
Also i will say, everyone who has a job should look to see if there company is on the list of verizon/sprint/att corporate discount. For example if you work for home depot, or ibm you get a 25 percent discount off your monthly bill for both verizon and sprint. Theres always a way to save.
glad i could help, however i will say that those verizon bastards wanted a 400 dollar deposit, att and sprint didnt so i went with the evo. I know i know how could I but i will say i love my choice. I am sure however the droid x and evo are very even. As leefuji said the next best code is prmcd10. The free shipping is all the time, and the free activation is friday to monday every week till they decide to change it.

Just keep in mind that there is no perfect phone. All of them have their flaws. Just look that the iphone 4. Iphone is not the best in the market!!
I can not wait for Droid 2, they arent changing much except keyboard, removing the d pad and making the keyboard bigger and adding arrows, of course.. updates and such, making it faster.. but yes… amazing

Excellent phone and you can remove all those blur like widgets very easily. Personally I don’t really care for widgets at all….on any phone.
After removing them, this phone is crazy fast. Just wait till 2.2 Froyo gets on this beast!!
They should put motion blur effect when u flip the screens.
@BathingGorillas It does, until you install a different UI from the market for free. The phone is then very very nice.
@TheFarmerDeBoer – I’ve used launcher pro, don’t really care for it. I played with a Droid X yesterday…just didn’t feel right for me…it may work for you but I just found it plain…like the widgets they offer are lackluster.
@ChrisHoyt You can replace the home UIs. LauncherPro/ADWlauncher are waay better than any stock UI.
